One cookie remembers your choice. Everything else is optional, off until you switch it on, and listed here in full.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. “Local storage” works similarly but is never sent back to the website. We list both, because you deserve to know about either.
Strictly necessary (always on)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
isiaf_consent | First-party cookie | Remembers your cookie choice and when you made it, so we can honour it. | 12 months |
isiaf_a11y | Local storage (never sent to us) | Remembers display settings you chose in the accessibility panel. | Until you reset them or clear site data |
Our host may also process security cookies on rare occasions to block attacks. These are not used to track you.
Analytics (off unless you switch it on)
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes visits for aggregate statistics. | Up to 13 months | |
_ga_* | Keeps the state of a visit. | Up to 13 months |
Google Tag Manager itself sets no cookies; it is simply not loaded until you opt in. Analytics runs under Google Consent Mode v2: analytics and advertising storage default to “denied” until you opt in (only security and basic site-function storage are allowed by default), and advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation are off. Withdrawing consent deletes the Analytics cookies straight away.
Advertising (none today)
We use no advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies or pixels. If that ever changes, they will be listed here first, stay off unless you switch them on, and never run while your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
Your controls
- Change or withdraw your choice any time with “Cookie preferences” in the footer of every page.
- Global Privacy Control is honoured automatically.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working without them.
More on how we handle information is in the Privacy Notice.
